In a High-Martial World, You Become an Immortal by Refining Gu?

The Gu refining system is really good, Ding Wei's Gu refining is very practical, the Naling Gu solves the problem of spiritual energy recovery, and the Black Armor Gu strengthens the physical body, which solves the two major pain points for warriors in the world of high martial arts. The transformation from a cleaning lady to a powerful martial artist is achieved step by step by refining Gu. There are no cheats from the sky, and the logic is very solid. It's just that the description of "big families monopolizing martial arts" in the early stage is a bit shallow, and it doesn't quite reflect the sense of oppression. If more about the struggles of the low-level warriors can be written, Ding Wei's counterattack will have a more immersive feeling. However, the excitement of refining Gu is enough, and the more you watch, the more you get into it.

As a Gao Wushuang writer, the entry point of refining Gu is very novel. Ding Wei's Golden Armor Gu and Naling Gu are intuitive and practical in effect, and the special effects of the Gu during battle are vividly described. The main line of counterattacking from the bottom level and relying on Gu refining to break the martial arts monopoly is very clear. However, the characterization is a bit thin. Ding Wei's character has no outstanding points except "wanting to become stronger". If more of his concentration when refining Gu and his ruthlessness in facing powerful enemies could be added, the character would be more three-dimensional. Fortunately, the fun of refining Gu is always online, and the appearance of new Gu always brings surprises, and the more you follow it, the more you look forward to it.

Ding Wei's Gu refining method is really good. Others worry about spiritual energy and physical body, but he can easily solve it by relying on Nailing Spirit Gu and Xuanjia Gu. This kind of dimensionality reduction attack is very satisfying. Make powerful Gu from common insects such as moths and woodlice, which is full of creativity. However, the early plot is a bit "flat", and the obstacles Ding Wei encounters are all easy to solve. I hope that a big force will come later to specifically target his Gu refining skills and create a conflict of "righteousness vs evil". This will make the plot more tense. The current Gu refining setting and upgrading rhythm are good, and the further I go, the more I want to see how far his Gu martial arts can develop.

The setting is very interesting to me, but I feel that the plot of Ding Wei getting slapped in the face is not satisfying enough. I hope there will be more famous scenes in the future where he is slapped in the face with his strength after being questioned that "refining gu is a crooked way". At present, the growth line of refining gu is quite stable.
