"Forbidden Therapy" starts from the "Beishan No. 3 Mental Hospital" that has been abandoned for 30 years, and revolves around the adventures of Lin Feng, Wang Hao, Zhang Wei, Liu Qian, and Chen Xue, uncovering a strange past sealed in the gloomy building.
As the expedition organizer, Wang Hao, with a thrill-seeking mentality, led everyone into this abandoned mental hospital that was filled with musty smell, disinfectant residue and unknown corruption. As soon as they entered the building, the cold and depressing atmosphere made everyone nervous. The timid Liu Qian was frightened the whole time, but the silent Chen Xue was unusually calm. Only Wang Hao was always excited and kept proposing to explore deeper into the core ward area.
In a dilapidated ward, Zhang Wei accidentally discovered a yellowed hospitalization medical record, recording the diagnosis and treatment process of patient Li Mei in 1988. The medical records record in detail that Li Mei claimed to be able to see "dark shadows" and hear whispers, and was even induced by the shadows to engage in abnormal behaviors such as self-mutilation, refusal to eat, and gibbering, and the course of her disease gradually worsened. What is even more chilling is that at the end of the medical record, it is mentioned that Li Mei eventually hanged herself, while patients in the same ward insisted that they had seen a tall "black figure" standing beside Li Mei's bed before the incident, as if assisting her in tidying up the sheets. The record ended with a "death record" seal, casting a deeper shadow of terror on the mental hospital.
