Film and TV Crossover: She's Just an Innocent White Lotus

(A niche preference, and the comments are sharply divided. Please make sure you’re okay with it before reading: the female lead is not strong; at its heart, this is angsty, unsettling literature involving coercive possession and a little female-lead degradation. The female lead is fragile and not entirely sane.)

After watching Empresses in the Palace and Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace, the Primordial God Ye Lin couldn’t help but wonder: would things turn out differently if the doomed supporting characters in these stories had been given breathtaking beauty?

What did they do wrong? Even with peerless beauty, they still fell for scumbags. They were just innocent white lotuses, forced to plant grass on those men’s heads~

[World One (Complete)] Empresses in the Palace, Meng Jingxian: After being reborn, Meng Jingxian catches YUNLI’s eye at first sight, and he asks to marry her. But at the wedding banquet, the Emperor takes an interest in her. She hadn’t wanted to get involved in a coercive romance or steal a minister’s wife, but what could she do when Yunli betrayed her?

[World Two] Empresses in the Palace, Yixiu: Yixiu is reborn before her wedding. After Yinzhen breaks off their engagement, he falls in love with her at first sight. Sigh, she could only have played out the usual groveling pursuit and redemption plot, but then Yinzhen betrayed her again. So she had to seek a little comfort among Yinzhen’s advisors~
