The Blue Butterfly of the Famine Years

When Ye Luoman woke up, she discovered she could connect to the future. A mysterious purchasing System had opened in her mind. But with a three-year famine about to sweep the nation, she couldn't openly warn anyone and could only watch helplessly as the nightmare drew closer.

She carried her grandfather's final instructions: “First, survive and protect yourself. Then look after your family... Know your limits in all things, and plan carefully before you act.” She held fast to his words: even if it meant eating wild greens gruel, she would keep studying and learning to tell right from wrong. She had to keep a clear account in her mind, but leave no trace behind.

In an age when hunger and panic were spreading, Ye Luoman quietly clung to the faint hope that had come from the future. She had to use the System in secret to find her family a chance at survival, while remaining cautious with every step. Knowledge was her armor, and cunning her weapon. She had to do more than survive the famine: in silence, she would hold on to the limits of humanity and reckon every moral cost behind the struggle to stay alive.
