Introduction: Guixu: Guardians of the Starfall
When a deep-sea probe in the Mariana Trench plunges into a mysterious vortex, the life of young archaeology PhD student A-Sheng is changed forever. He transmigrates to the ancient era recorded in the Classic of Mountains and Seas and stumbles into the Shennong Tribe, then ravaged by “red miasma.” After using modern medicine to save Shennong from poisoning caused by eating aconite, he becomes embroiled in a “battle to protect Earth” spanning the stars and time.
There is no ethereal “spiritual energy” here, only “ecological terraforming technology” left behind by an alien civilization. Pangu was the interstellar spacecraft Pangu, piloted by Fuxi and Nuwa. Nuwa mending the sky was actually the act of pushing “Moon Mountain,” a celestial stabilizer, into orbit to regulate the climate. Shennong tasting the hundred herbs was a way of screening gene-edited plants capable of purifying the environment. The Battle of Zhuolu, the Alliance of Banquan, and Yu the Great’s flood control all arose from the struggle to seize or protect the “Pangu legacy.”
From quelling the “Battle of Bansource” and forging the Banquan Alliance, to helping Yu the Great tame the floods of the Nine Rivers and venturing deep into Guixu to find the main cabin of the Pangu, A-Sheng stands alongside tribal leaders such as Shennong, the Yellow Emperor, and Yu the Great. Together, they oppose the Chi You Tribe’s abuse of technology and avert the red-miasma crisis caused by an energy leak from the interstellar spacecraft.
Summoned by their home planet, Nuwa and Fuxi depart. As spiritual power wanes, humanity enters an era of transforming itself to survive.
