In Eternia, a city defined by the giant "eternal gear", reality is order and history is program. The young tuner Kyle is the loyal guardian of this perfect world. His vocation is to ensure that this giant machine that creates reality is foolproof.

This whisper is the precursor of the collapse of reality and the cry of dusty history. When cracks in time begin to appear in the city, and when memories can be tampered with, Kyle is forced to join forces with the mysterious archivist Ilana to sneak into the forbidden underbelly of the city. He will discover that the stability he protects with his life may be a carefully woven lie; and the chaos he fears may be his true hometown.
