Everyone has a one-sided crush, and the pairings are a glorious free-for-all. There’s sure to be a dish you like.
Soul transmigration, death and rebirth, school life, class, family, friendship, love… It’s all about feelings, feelings, feelings!
Ke Chen, my favorite male lead! Before he died, he was an arrogant, hotheaded rich kid who secretly loved Shen Zhe. He humiliated himself, fawning over someone who couldn’t stand him, and everyone looked down on him. After his death, he became a steady, capable jack-of-all-trades, except at studying: a little sunshine, a puppy, a sly fox, and a little white rabbit all rolled into one.
Shen Zhe: A gloomy, ghostly guy. An excellent student and up-and-coming idol, he’s usually a polite, gentle young gentleman, but turns into a demon whenever he’s around Ke Chen. A classic two-faced person who’s good at pretending.
Ke Heng: An older brother with no blood relation to Ke Chen. He was raised with impeccable manners and is a warm, approachable older man. Extremely self-disciplined, he’s nevertheless willing to show his exhaustion and true feelings in front of Ke Chen.
Lin Yao: Always wears a neat school uniform, with the top button fastened. An extremely disciplined top student and perfectionist.
Zhou Ran: A handsome athlete, cheerful and optimistic, a little slow on the uptake, and a dark-skinned sports student with a fierce competitive streak.
A Le: Bassist in an underground band. Long-haired, laid-back, disillusioned, and rebellious, he hates all rigid rules and loves burning through life onstage at live music venues.
Liao Yufan: A short-tempered cousin who fiercely protects his own, and a king of saying one thing while meaning another. His features resemble Ke Chen’s, but he’s wilder, like a young leopard with sharp edges that hasn’t been fully tamed.
Zhao Xiaochuan: Ke Chen’s number-one supporter and little sidekick, a social butterfly who knows how to get the whole room going.
