The Exquisite Stratagem

Modern business magnate Shen Weixi dies in an unexpected plane crash, and her soul transmigrates to the fictional Great Qian dynasty, where she becomes an illegitimate daughter in the Vice Minister of Personnel's household, scorned and ignored by everyone. When she wakes, she faces a dilapidated courtyard, a spiteful stepmother, an arrogant legitimate elder sister, and an indifferent father. But how could a soul from the modern world meekly submit to fate? She conceals her abilities and quietly makes her plans. Meanwhile, her cousin Xie Heng, hailed as Great Qian's youngest chancellor, crosses paths with the Linglong Pavilion through his official duties. Though he has no idea who is behind it, he can't help admiring its owner's talent. When he visits the family residence, he is startled to find that the timid cousin he remembers has become radiant and self-possessed, with extraordinary insight evident in her every word and gesture. Before he knows it, their childhood friendship has quietly changed into something more. The emperor and the regent both order investigations into the mysterious woman, and every lead points to the unremarkable illegitimate daughter of the Shen household. The moment her identity is revealed, the entire court is shaken. Shen Weixi is no longer an invisible girl whom no one notices. Now, she has drawn the admiration and rivalry of the three most powerful men in the Great Qian dynasty.
