Spiritual qi revival brings an invasion of monsters, and heroes rise in droves. Lin Fan, however, awakens a uniquely absurd [Invincible Slacker System].
The way to grow stronger isn’t cultivation, but completing tasks so mortifying they’ll make you wish the ground would swallow you whole! “Sing ‘Meow Meow Meow’ to an S-rank monster and get [Invincible Punch]!” “Grab the villain’s leg and sob about how expensive the bride price is, and get [Divine Movement Technique]!” “Perform a pole dance on a livestream watched by the whole world and get [Immortality]!”
So while the strong fight to the death against world-ending monsters, Lin Fan is falling apart over his mission: “System, could you act like a human for once? If I do this, how am I supposed to show my face on Earth again?!”
With his survival on the line, Lin Fan has no choice but to keep going down the path of public humiliation. Before long, he becomes a bizarre urban legend: He’s an F-rank hero whose strength is unknown and who gets stronger against stronger foes; he’s a suspicious character who slays monsters in an instant but is always taken away by the police; he’s the internet’s much-discussed “nutcase dance king,” and an incomprehensible being who leaves every villain’s brain overheating!
Then one day, an evil god from beyond the stars descends, and the whole world falls into despair. Lin Fan looks at the System’s final mission: “Put on a JK skirt and shout to the evil god, ‘You are the most beautiful cloud in my heart…’” He sighs and quietly zips up the skirt.
“Fine. It’s not like this is my first time…”
