Legend of the Immortal Sword: The Azure Origin Era 2: Xuan Cang Descends to the Immortal Realm

Introduction to The Legend of the Immortal Sword: The Cangyuan Era II: Xuan Cang Comes to the Immortal Realm

A thousand years later, the lingering waves of the Void shake the source of the Three Realms. The beings of the world unite their "faith in protection" into a core of Dao-heart light, awakening Xuan Cang, who had merged with heaven and earth. Returning in a body that is half Dao and half immortal, he sets out for the Immortal Realm with Lin Qingyue, inheritor of Lin Wan'er, to restore the source and shatter the rigid order.

Upon entering the Immortal Realm, Xuan Cang makes his mark at Shattered Star Gorge by refusing to pay the Heavenly Dao Pavilion's exorbitant taxes, wielding "Dao-transformed immortal power." He then explores the secret realm that reaches the heavens, passes the Dao-heart trial, and obtains a Dao-Slaying Immortal Sword embryo and the Immortal Scripture of Boundary-Breaking. After advancing to the Golden Immortal Realm, he befriends Chi Yan, an immortal general of the demon race, and Mo Chen, an immortal formation master, and forms the "Cangyuan Squad."

He later establishes the "Cangyuan Pavilion" as a base in the secret realm, championing the idea that "the Dao has no ranks, and immortals must not bully the weak." He takes in outcast rogue cultivators and outsiders, seizes a purple crystal vein, and changes the rules governing spiritual energy. Refining the immortal sword awakens the power to "slay the old Dao," and he advances to the Great Unity Golden Immortal Realm. The Pavilion's name spreads throughout the borderlands. Wary of its growing influence, the Heavenly Dao Pavilion cracks down and seals off the Ruins of Law. Xuan Cang leads his team inside, where he allies with Ji Yao, a descendant of an ancient immortal clan. They take on the Law-Enforcing Immortal Venerable head-on and seize the Core of Law. After advancing to the Great Encompassment Golden Immortal Realm, Xuan Cang comprehends the beginnings of "creating the Dao," and the Cangyuan Pavilion grows stronger by absorbing three factions.

The Heavenly Evolution Immortal Venerable joins forces with the Myriad Swords Alliance, the Alchemy Cauldron Sect, and the Netherworld Hall to lay siege to them. Xuan Cang travels far and wide to ally with the Sea Immortal Clan and the Wilderness Immortal Tribes, founding the "Cangyuan Alliance." Using the power of creating the Dao to change the rules of the battlefield, he defeats the vanguard and forces Heavenly Evolution to agree to a ceasefire. The alliance rises to become the Immortal Realm's third-largest power. To overthrow the old laws once and for all, Xuan Cang storms the Hall of the Heavenly Dao's Source. Mo Chen sacrifices half his life to break through the ninth-layer law formation. Inside the hall, the Core of Law merges with the Great Dao of Cangyuan
