Twisted Bones, Wicked Flame: Nezha and the Crown Prince Switch Fathers

At Chentang Pass, Li Jing cuts open the ball of flesh his younger brother has become, only to find a demon pearl instead of a spiritual child.

In the Kunlun Immortal Realm, the ball of flesh in which Nezha is born bursts open. Rising from within it is a royal grandson with a face as red as a jujube.

From then on, when Li Nezha pulls the Dragon King’s son’s sinews, the sensation feels strangely familiar. When the Shang prince draws his sword against King Zhou, he is as violent as a demon.

On the night of the Star-Picking Tower, when Daji reveals the secret of the switched babies, Nezha finally understands why Empress Jiang always cries when she looks at him.

He looks at Yin Jiao, whose collarbones are pierced by chains, and says softly, “Now it’s your turn to kill your father.”
