Divine Phoenix, Healing Consort

Born without a spiritual meridian, she was branded a good-for-nothing, bullied by her stepmother and her legitimate elder sister, and treated as a disgrace to the family. Poisoned as a child, she suffered from poor health and was stripped of the right to inherit the family's secret medical arts. For reasons unknown, the family became embroiled in a power struggle and fell into decline. Treated as a pawn, she was ordered to marry the seventh prince, known as the “Ghost Face,” to bring him good fortune. He was celebrated for his military exploits, yet had been struck by a strange poison, left with crippled legs, and confined to bed for years.
