After the global catastrophe known as the “Great Annihilation,” the world is reduced to ruins and the electromagnetic environment falls into complete disorder. Most technology from the old era is now scrap. Lin Mo, a former radio engineer, unexpectedly repairs an old radio while scavenging. Amid the crackling static, a clear, composed woman’s voice comes through in brief bursts. She claims to be from the “past,” seventy-five days before the Great Annihilation. Her name is Su Rui.
At first, Lin Mo thinks it is merely a hallucination born of despair.
