Dreams of the Mirror City

In an apocalyptic online game where virtuality and reality intertwine, the truth about life, death, time, and consciousness is quietly coming to light.

Ringo is an ordinary human who awakens as an “Observer” after an accident, glimpsing the secrets behind the world. She suddenly discovers that her purpose is to protect memories.

Shi Lan and her companions travel through data ruins and rifts in time, intent on awakening sealed souls and fighting off the “Purge Protocol” as it hunts them down. They strive to reclaim the “right to see another day” for everyone swallowed by the furnace.

Mo Ying should have been a human who perished, yet he is reborn time and again through countless “death reflexes.” He is neither a bug nor a programming error, but an “exceptional child” forgotten by time. His existence challenges the TPO organization's absolute control over life and death, and reveals the cruel truth behind the “transmigrators”: death is not the end, but the beginning of a journey through time and space.

As they struggle across the boundary between virtuality and reality, they gradually understand that true freedom does not mean escaping death. It means choosing to live even after being declared “dead.”

Virtual code and real lives become entangled time and again, as a lifeform made of foreign code ponders the digital world's destiny.

Dreamland Revisited is a fantasy novel that blends cyberpunk, philosophical reflection, and the awakening of consciousness. It asks: When the System defines life and death, who gets to define “existence”? When time can reverse, can the soul travel through it? And do those forgotten by the world still have the right to rewrite their fate?

Welcome to the world of the forgotten.
