The 1960s: A Hutong Policeman's Comfortable Life

Li Weiguo, a modern teenager, accidentally transmigrates to Mao'er Hutong in Beijing in 1968, a time of severe shortages. He has a portable space that can produce supplies. Using it, he gives his family a comfortable life with enough to eat, but he can't stand bullies like Xu Damao throwing their weight around in the alley. To protect his family and keep the neighborhood safe, he resolves to become a police officer. With his modern mindset and practical approach, he settles disputes and maintains order on the job. He has no ambition to shake the world; as an ordinary man, he simply stands firm and protects the peace and happiness of his family and neighborhood in a turbulent era.
