Great Ming: Xuanzong Revived, Bloodbath at the Hall of Fengtian from the Start

In the autumn of 1449, the Ming army suffered a crushing defeat at Tumu Fortress, and the emperor was captured. The news even reached the Ming emperors who had ascended to Heaven.

Zhu Yuanzhang was so furious his eyes nearly split open. “Have Zhu Qizhen sliced to pieces! Slice him up!!!”

Zhu Di said, “Bring Zhu Zhanji here! Let him see what his good-for-nothing son has done!!!”

Just then, Liu Bowen and Yao Guangxiao came riding on clouds, saying they could send Zhu Zhanji down to the mortal realm to atone for his sins.

Zhu Zhanji declared, “It seems the great task of restoring the Ming has fallen to me!”

And so, clutching the founding jade seal bestowed on him by the founding emperor and leading the thirty thousand cavalry given to him by Emperor Taizong, Zhu Zhanji tore open Heaven's Gate and returned to the mortal realm to save the Ming.

This time, he would show the Oirats what a truly invincible army looked like, and what the wrath of thunder was!
