Sha Monk still habitually lowered his head to carry his burden. The nine skulls at the bottom of the quicksand river were an indelible past. Helping a fallen child steady gave him more peace of mind than the title of "Golden Arhat". But Tang Monk was holding the Sanskrit scripture, and suddenly he couldn't understand the "enlightenment" between the lines: his decision to reject the daughter's kingdom, and his preference when chasing Wukong away, was he adhering to the Tao, or was he afraid of the inner shake?
This is a westward journey from the end to the starting point. There are no dangers of danger, but there are "inner monsters" that everyone has to face - confused direction, the past that cannot be let go, and the unclear self. They brought the scriptures retrieved from Xitian, but they had to "get" the inner answer again: perfection is never the end, and the journey back is the new starting point; the so-called scriptures are never Sanskrit words on paper, but the courage to face the heart after seeing the world through.
From the rain in Chang'an to the clouds in Lingshan, from the different perspectives of the four masters and disciples, we look back at the thoughts buried by the wind and sand, the growth tied by the golden hoop curse, and the anger softened by the road of atonement. This time, I won't talk about conquering demons, but only about the truest realization of life: throughout our lives, we will find the meaning of "departure" again after "returning".
