Shen Wang, a down-on-his-luck animal communicator, unexpectedly awakens a pair of eyes that can see the "colors of emotion" in all things, and becomes bound to a mysterious "All Spirits Affinity System." Forced to take over an old street-side zoo on the verge of bankruptcy, he discovers that the animals kept there are no ordinary creatures, but ancient divine beasts whose bloodlines are on the brink of extinction, and descendants of otherworldly spirits! So while running a zoo in the city and treating extraordinary creatures hidden among ordinary folk, he incubates eggs, raises young, and pets divine beasts. Before he knows it, his zoo has become the key link between two worlds. And the little "puppy" he hatched, who does nothing but act cute, is actually the apocalyptic beast from mythology, powerful enough to destroy the world...!
