Lao Zhou is a night shift driver on Metro Line 3. The last train on this line is supposed to arrive at the terminal at 23:50, but starting from the third month after he took the job, the train always deviates from the track at midnight and enters an abandoned tunnel covered with rust.
During the first encounter, the surveillance screen suddenly flashed with snowflakes, and a nursery rhyme like an electric current came from the radio. He clutched the joystick tightly, but watched helplessly as the train slid towards a platform that had never appeared on the dispatch map - the platform was covered with ankle-deep dust, and the station sign was so blurry that only the word "No. 7" Remained. The old man in a gray shirt stood by the waiting chair with his back to him, his neck tilted to his shoulders at an unnatural angle.
After that, at every midnight, the abandoned platform will appear on time. Sometimes a little girl holding an old rag doll would come up, her heels stained with fresh soil, but she would disappear without a trace when she got out of the car; sometimes there would be a rapid knock on the door, and bloodshot eyes printed on the car window, but they would dissipate into white mist the moment he looked up. The strangest thing is that every time the train leaves, there will be an unfamiliar line of writing on his notepad: "The door of the seventh carriage is unlocked."
