Whispers from the Firmament

Urban cultivation, the revival of mythology, exploration, suspense, and an ensemble cast

This is an age of scientific progress, and also the final age of decline, when Daoist arts have all but vanished. Mythology is nothing more than faded chapters in a textbook, and cultivating immortality is pure nonsense.

Lin Feng is an ordinary young man obsessed with ancient legends. During an accident, trapped in a blizzard in the Kunlun mountain range, he unexpectedly stirs the last faint trace of spiritual energy in the world and becomes a “Qi Refiner” in this dying age.

From then on, the other side of the world bursts open before his eyes:

· Deep in the forbidden zone of Shennongjia lie the remains of an ancient herb garden, where sentient beasts also lie in wait;

· Beneath the Sea of Death in Lop Nur lies an ancient demon lair that even a nuclear blast could not destroy;

· Kunlun Ruins are no mere legend, but a shattered gateway to a lost age of the gods;

· In the whirlpool of the underwater Guixu, a lament echoes from before the sinking of Atlantis...

Ancient legacies endure in the shadows, the power of bloodlines stirs beneath the surface, mysterious government agencies watch with cold indifference, and the covert hands of international organizations reach toward the unknown.
