Modern office worker Lu Qian wakes up to discover he has become the pathetic villain Lu Qian from Water Margin, a man who betrays his friends for glory and meets a grim end! Is this the fateful moment at the mountain temple in the blizzard? No! The timeline has unexpectedly moved forward. Gao Qiu is now forcing him to come up with a vicious scheme to frame Lin Chong, instructor of the 800,000 Imperial Guards!
A hellish start? It could also be a chance to turn things around!
Knowing how the original story ends, Lu Qian has no choice but to walk a tightrope between the pressure of powerful minister Gao Qiu and the shadow of Lin Chong's future revenge. He pretends to comply, but secretly throws a wrench into the works. With a self-destructive “epileptic fit,” he manages to derail the deadly trap at the White Tiger Hall, sending himself and Lin Chong tumbling together into the depths of prison.
But outside the prison walls, the turbulent tides have not subsided.
Gao Qiu's schemes are tightly interwoven, and Fu An's surveillance leaves no gaps. What surprises Lu Qian even more is that the covert operative he had planned to use, Pan Jinlian, a woman trapped in the marketplace and relentlessly pressured, has boldly sent a dangerous “secret fragrance” into the death cell first!
Survive, seize power, and turn a tragic hero's fate around! Desire, redemption, and gathering beauties beneath his banner!
See how a modern soul navigates between the Liangshan heroes, the powerful elite of the Song Dynasty, and dangerous beauties. In this brutal age, where human lives are as worthless as grass, will he go with the tide and become a usurping warlord, or defy fate and write a tale unlike that of the Hall of Loyalty and Righteousness: a whole new Water Margin epic!
With my imagination wide open, I went to Lin Chong, and the trajectory of history began to change. I look forward to the plot behind it.
