After 100,000 Sign-Ins, I Became the Sect's Groundskeeper

In the scripture library of the Ninefold Heaven Sect, a good-for-nothing odd-job disciple named Lin Yuan can barely hold a sword. He sweeps the floors every day without fail, but no one knows he has secretly been using sign-in rewards for a hundred thousand years. He possesses the Diagram of Hongmeng Creation and the bloodline of the Ancestral Chaos Dragon, and even the fallen leaves he sweeps up can become blades capable of slaying immortals.

At the sect tournament, he uses a wooden stick to block an inner disciple’s top-grade spirit sword. Everyone laughs and calls him a fool who has a death wish, only to see the sword shatter and its wielder sent flying the very next moment. When a demon king breaks into the forbidden grounds behind the mountain and the elders are helpless, Lin Yuan casually sweeps up the dead branches on the ground, triggering the earth’s spiritual energy to tear the demon king apart. Even the supreme Hongmeng treasure coveted by the sect leader is just a “consolation prize” from his daily sign-ins.

But as Lin Yuan gradually reveals his strength, he discovers that the supposedly peaceful sect hides a shocking conspiracy: the Ninefold Heaven Sect has long colluded with the Netherworld; his aloof senior sister is a reincarnated sword spirit; the haughty Holy Maiden is a spy for the Demon Sect; and his frail junior sister is the last Holy Maiden of the Void Pavilion. Even his master, who was supposedly “dead long ago,” has an unknown connection to the ruler of the Netherworld.

With the Samsara Mirror, he can foresee crises three days in advance; with the Fallen Leaf Formation, he can reflect any attack. Looking at the chessboard of the Three Realms before him, Lin Yuan smiles faintly. “From today on, this sweeping monk’s broom will sweep every demon and monster from the world.”
