Jurassic Park 4

The Dinosaur Renaissance was a small-scale scientific revolution. Paleontologist Robert Bakker first coined the term “Dinosaur Renaissance” in a 1975 issue of Scientific American. It transformed theories about dinosaur physiology and their image in popular culture. The Dinosaur Renaissance began in the late 1960s, when new discoveries and research suggested that dinosaurs might not have been sluggish, cold-blooded animals, but instead an active group of warm-blooded creatures. This hypothesis challenged the widely accepted view of dinosaurs during the first half of the twentieth century.
