In 2245 AD, humans discovered the "Star Gate" on the back of the moon, ushering in the era of interstellar colonization. However, ten years later, the alien race "Energy Devourers" invaded through the Star Gate, and the earth became a battlefield. The surviving humans discovered in the ruins that the energy-devouring tribe's talent for devouring energy could be imitated by humans, and thus the "Source Energy Cultivation System" was born.
A hundred years later, mankind established five major interstellar alliances and formed a confrontation with the energy-devouring tribe. But deep in the universe, the ruins of the more ancient "Star Skeleton Civilization" continue to emerge, and it is said to possess the ultimate power to devour all things. The protagonist Wang Kai lives in the "Wasteland Star Area" where resources are scarce. An accident allows him to awaken the rare "Star Core Phage" and he embarks on a journey to uncover the origins of the Star Skeleton Civilization and the Energy Devouring Tribe.
