Wukong Defies Heaven: For You, I'll Turn the World Upside Down

He is the stone-hearted Monkey who once turned the Three Realms upside down. Though he has become the Victorious Fighting Buddha, he is bound by precepts as restrictive as the golden circlet. She is the Crimson Pearl Immortal Grass, repaying a debt of love in the Jia Mansion of Jinling, forever waiting for the day her tears run dry and her life ends. Beneath five hundred years of calm, the undercurrents stir once more. A baleful resentment from antiquity quietly eats away at the mortal world, and its target is none other than the fragile young girl, eyes glistening with tears, hidden in the Grand View Garden: Lin Daiyu. At the behest of the Fairy Jinghuan, the defiant Victorious Fighting Buddha Sun Wukong descends to the mortal world once again. Disguised as the free-spirited young man “Sun Xiaokong,” he enters this glittering place of flowers and willows, this gentle world of wealth and luxury. He expects a tedious inspection mission, but never imagines he will encounter a “love tribulation” he can never overcome in a lifetime.
