More than seventy years after the atmosphere disappeared, the dome city "Eden" is shrouded in eternal artificial sunlight. The seventh generation of new humans, the "Qing Tribe", has become the mainstream in the city. Their skin has a light green halo and they can absorb energy through photosynthesis. Botanist Bai Tan stood next to the huge root system of the world tree, and touched the gray spots spreading on the trunk with his fingertips - this mutated blight called "blight star disease" is devouring the ecological core of the city at an alarming rate.
