Chaos Annihilates the Heavens

When the western sands roll in with poisonous mists and swallow the trade routes, and the Profound Nether Alliance's wicked blades shatter the pact between the Central Plains and the Western Regions, Lin Mo, young master of the Flowing Cloud Pavilion, steps forward with a sword in each hand. His left hand shields the Central Plains sects with the shadow of his blade; his right joins with the curved swords of the western tribes. With his own vital power, he raises a barrier of peace at Broken Sand Pass.

He brings Central Plains craftsmen to teach the western tribes how to farm, using the curved plow to awaken fertile fields in the wasteland. He combines western jade with Central Plains porcelain, making gold-inlaid jade porcelain shine in the marketplaces. He also leads the Wudang sword, Tang Sect crossbow, and Blackstone Tribe mace to break the sand puppet formation amid the sandstorms and wipe out the remnants of the Black Wind Stronghold. From bandits who slaughter travelers along the trade routes to sand wraiths who control the shifting dunes, every battle is fought so that the sound of camel bells may replace the clash of arms, and cooking smoke may drift over the scars of war.

This is a stirring epic spanning the Central Plains and the Western Regions: the growth and transformation of a young alliance leader, sects and tribes entrusting their lives to one another, lands defended together by curved blades and swords, and a journey from suspicion to trust, from war to prosperity. When the last rays of sunlight fall upon the porcelain and jade in the Craftworks, you will see that peace never comes from nowhere. It is a lasting pact, forged between desert sands and oases with conviction as a shield and blades as a pen.
