Dream Within a Dream: Three Thousand Great Dreams

As the first ray of dawn pierced the mists of the Guixu Era, Wuming stood amid the miasma of Blackwind Ridge. The golden light gathering at her fingertips reflected the fate of her Stone Maiden bloodline, while also winding through the smoke of war from the end of the world on Planet Earth. She was the dream-self of the Great Dream Immortal Venerable as he weathered the great tribulation of reality and illusion, yet through layer upon layer of dreams, she came to live as her own light.

This was a journey of cultivation spanning three planes of time and space: from proving the Dao and becoming a Venerable to sacrificing herself for the Dao, from struggling within a dream to breaking free of it. In the end, every name returned to the “unspeakable,” and only the words “Reality and illusion share the same source; a dream is reality” echoed softly through endless ages.
