Outsiders arrive with the “Arena of the Gods,” wagering Earth itself on humanity's survival. The rules are simple and cruel: thirteen one-on-one battles between gods, with the first side to win seven deciding the future of civilization.
Lin Yuan, an ordinary young man of the modern age, is chosen by China's will as the “Chosen of Heaven.” His mission is not to fight in person, but to travel through time and space and summon the mightiest heroic spirits sealed in the annals of history: Huo Qubing's fierce cavalry, Yue Fei's loyal soul, Zhuge Liang's brilliant stratagems, the Overlord's fearless valor, and more. He must bring them forth in the flesh to fight across the cosmos on China's behalf!
Battle the Norse gods of war, face the Egyptian lord of the underworld, and destroy Brahma of India… Every victory must be won through the heroes' resolve and the blessings of the gods. Lin Yuan must delve into history and understand each hero's ideals and regrets before he can fight alongside them on this ultimate arena and carve out a future for China!
This is an expedition across time and space, the ultimate showdown of civilizations' legacies!
