Unreliable System? I'm Laying Low in a Supernatural City

Lin Yang is your stereotypical “dumb young guy.” He opens his eyes one day to find he’s been dropped into a bizarre parallel modern world, where ghosts roam, urban legends have come true, and supernatural incidents are everywhere. The whole city is steeped in fear. He lands right in front of a murderous ghost and is about to die when he gets bound to a System that looks completely unreliable. Thus begins a bizarre, hilarious, and life-threatening supernatural adventure. He’s got a System, but at first it’s so weak it’s practically useless. His “look out for number one” attitude also earns him plenty of dirty looks, and no one believes him when he investigates supernatural incidents. People are willing to help, but their methods always clash with his, forcing him to grit his teeth and make tough choices every time. It’s only thanks to his goofy optimism and stubborn resilience that he manages to grow through one deadly predicament after another and gradually find his footing. But can he cut through the layers of deception, uncover the truth about the world, take down the cult and the hidden forces behind it, and save this supernatural world gone haywire? No one can say for sure yet...
