Lin Xi, a core researcher from the interstellar era, is sent back to the modern world by a laboratory explosion. She becomes an "academic fraud" whose advisor stole her research and whose work is doubted by the academic community, then gets kicked out of the lab.
At her lowest point, the "Civilization Advancement System" binds itself to her. Its mission is to submit interstellar technologies and help her homeworld's civilization leap forward. Lin Xi immediately takes the blueprints for controlled nuclear fusion, exported by the System, and heads straight to the nation's top research center. The guards try to stop her at first, until she draws the reactor's core structure on the spot and catches the attention of a senior academician.
The senior academician studies the blueprints through the night, then says with red eyes that they could advance the country's energy technology by at least thirty years. Lin Xi also contributes interstellar technologies, including nanotech purification agents and crop genes adapted to extreme environments, and is immediately recruited to a national research team.
The System updates its mission: developing the first-generation fusion reactor will earn her An Introductory Guide to Interstellar Travel. During the project, her former advisor tries to bask in her reflected glory and accuses her of having an unknown source for her technology. Lin Xi reveals her research logs recorded by the System and the government's certification, ruining the advisor's reputation.
The country's first fusion power plant is completed, and the national power grid breaks free of its reliance on fossil fuels. The System announces that the "Alien Signal Decoding System" has been unlocked. Lin Xi looks at the national leaders hurrying toward her and says, "Next stop: I'll take the country into the stars!" As soon as she finishes speaking, a new interface suddenly appears in the System: "High-dimensional civilization passage detected. Open a cross-world research mission?" Lin Xi's eyes light up, and she decisively selects "Yes."
Her research journey will span multiple worlds.
Something will happen if you don't move. There are no good things but no bad things. There are a lot of them. There are 4 to 5 accidents in one chapter. Not one of the ten chapters is accident-free. What do you think? Please be a human being. I read the whole article with a straight face.
