The silver sword kills demons, the meteorite iron breaks the shackles, and the crow feathers, soaked in blood, will eventually reflect the rising sun.
Following the world view of the original The Witcher, the time is after the main end of Geralt's story, the Northern War has come to an end, and the world is in a fragile period of reconstruction. Witchers are rarer, and they are still feared and hated, but the problem of potential "monsters" remains. The protagonist, Leon, calls himself "Shadow Raven". He is not from any known school of thought, but is an experimental subject who accidentally survived. A secret organization attempts to use witcher mutation technology combined with other powers to create more powerful and controllable super soldiers/assassins. Leon is one of the few surviving but out-of-control test subjects. As Leon searches for his origins and the meaning of his existence, he becomes embroiled in a new conspiracy hatched by his "creators" and must choose between saving the world and saving himself (from becoming either a monster or a tool entirely).
