Ten years ago, middle school student Ouyang Ming accidentally discovered a “white cavity” leading to another world in the hills behind his hometown. This world resembled Earth, but showed no trace of humanity and was overrun by powerful exotic beasts. In an ancient ruin, he found simplified Chinese characters and mysterious symbols recording the secrets of beast-taming runestones, and brought three of the stones back with him. Using his brilliant scientific mind, Ouyang Ming transformed the runestones into “Ability Cards” and established a system of contracts with exotic beasts, allowing humans to summon them and fight alongside them.
