(Single female lead, spiritual qi revival, urban superpowers.)
This is a world where humans and demons coexist. Humans live on the surface of the world, while demons live inside it, dividing the world into the Surface World and the Inner World.
The two races, humans and demons, had no contact with each other and lived and developed in their own worlds. But one day, a thousand years ago, that balance began to break.
The Surface and Inner Worlds were connected by the Boundary Corridor, and demons began invading the human world. Humanity fought back, but could not withstand the demons' overwhelming power.
Just as all of humanity was losing hope, Spirit Adepts appeared. They absorbed and used the spiritual qi leaking from the Inner World to strengthen themselves, awaken their Spirit Arms, and acquire Spirit Skills. Their awakened abilities were divided into seven Spirit Adept classes:
Executioners.
Spellcasters.
Watchers.
Spirit Summoners.
Ink Adepts.
Star Speakers.
Modifiers.
Each of the seven classes had different abilities, and the Spirit Arms they awakened came in countless forms.
The Spirit Adepts united all of humanity and began to fight back against the demons. After a thousand years of war, they finally managed to hold the defensive line near the Boundary Corridor, the only passage connecting the Surface and Inner Worlds.
