Journey to the West: The Buddha Is an Evil God, and I, Xuanzang, Return the Scriptures and Destroy Buddhism

Reborn and transmigrated into the world of Journey to the West, I became Xuanzang.

Three years ago, I returned from fetching the scriptures, only to open the gates of hell with my own hands and doom a million souls in Chang’an!

Now I walk the road west once more, but this time it is a journey to “return the scriptures”!

I will plunge into the sea of corpses at Gao Village and drag out Zhu Bajie, who has withdrawn into himself and gorges on food out of fear.

I will venture into the countless resentful souls of the Flowing Sand River and awaken Sha Wujing, who resists madness by forgetting.

Ahead lies the Holy Mother Guanyin, who sees flesh-and-blood mutation as “blissful ascension.” She was once my fellow disciple, but now she wants to refine me into the “key” that will open a new world.

There are also Olden-Days demon kings ruling their own domains with twisted monsters as their armies, and remnants of the Celestial Court hiding in the Kunlun Immortal Realm, hoping to use us as pawns and restore the old order.

Before our sanity burns away completely, we must cross these eighty-one layers of fleshly purgatory and reach the summit of Spirit Mountain!

Not to save all living beings, but to awaken the stone monkey, then watch him smash the gods and Buddhas of the heavens with a single strike, and shatter this mad world!
