Xu Qinghuan's goal in life is to eat her way through every delicacy in the world. Unfortunately, her meager salary can't support her ambitions. In the final year of her teaching career, she decides to sit the postgraduate entrance exam, but her older sister Xu Jiaqi uses threats and temptation to make her the temporary assistant to top-tier star Sui Xuanyi.
Sui Xuanyi has never met anyone who can eat as much as she does. After watching her polish off several boxes of takeout, he wonders if something is wrong with her. When she sees a doctor, he learns that she simply has a huge appetite, and gradually finds himself taking an interest in this big eater.

Xu Qinghuan comes out holding a spoon and stands in the doorway. “Just wait. But every time Grandma cooks, there's a faint lemon scent. Why can't I get that flavor?”
Xu Jiaqi looks at the lemon and dish soap in the kitchen. “Are you sure Grandma used lemon? Maybe the pot wasn't washed properly. Why don't you smell the dish soap next to it?”
Xu Qinghuan freezes on the spot.
Outside the recording studio
Xu Qinghuan watches Sui Xuanyi working inside, while her stomach growls with hunger outside.
Shen Yiyi rarely comes by to visit her son. She spots the young woman staring at her thermos, and the more she looks at her, the more she likes her.
Xu Qinghuan: “Auntie, are you a fan of our Xuanyi?”
Shen Yiyi nods.
After striking up a conversation, Xu Qinghuan finally can't resist asking, “Auntie, whatever you've made smells so good!”
Shen Yiyi smiles at her. “Would you like to try some, sweetheart? My husband made it.”
