[Parallel world] [Entertainment industry] [System] [Two heroines]
In an age when popularity rules, data is everything.
A programmer named Lin Ze, laid off by a tech giant, unexpectedly gains a “cheat” that lets him see all the data in the entertainment industry.
He plans to use this secret weapon to make a quick fortune and leave, but accidentally signs a disgraced actress who has been vilified across the internet.
From then on, he is swept into a whirlpool of capital, fans, and scandals.
He isn’t a star, but he’s the one who makes stars. He stays out of the spotlight, yet from behind the scenes he controls the rise and fall of every top-tier star.
I used to like reading books about time travel. This is my first time reading this type of urban entertainment industry. I'm halfway through it. Overall, I feel it's okay. The writing is smooth and unpretentious. The subject matter is relatively new and interesting. I hope the dramatic conflict will be more radical and the completeness of the conflict will be higher and more intense. It's better to have a real life-and-death feeling instead of just staying on the surface.
