Full Synopsis: Gu Yang, a gifted piano student at a top music conservatory, is famous for his exquisite technique and cold, distant demeanor. He's known as the "Iceberg Pianist." His life plan is clear and unfeeling: win an international competition, become a professional performer, and stay clear of pointless emotional entanglements. Then one rainy night turns everything upside down. He "takes in" Lin Xi, a girl who's soaked through and homeless. She has perfect pitch and a wholehearted love of music, but an accident has left her unable to play the piano.
Their forced life together brings two people from entirely different worlds into sudden contact. Lin Xi's warmth, kindness, and occasional clumsiness gradually invade and melt the orderly world Gu Yang is used to. He becomes her "temporary guardian" and musical guide, helping her rediscover the meaning of music and find a direction for her future. Along the way, she unwittingly plucks at the strings of his closed-off heart, drawing out a tender melody he has never played before.
From campus to the wider world, from youth to maturity, they face academic pressure, competitive performances, family opposition, and uncertainty about their dreams. This is a sweet love story about healing wounds with love and becoming a better person because of someone else. It's also a coming-of-age symphony composed by two people, filled with laughter, tears, and moving melodies.
