Star Travel: Endless Greed

“Shiyuan, let’s set off together!” A kite of dreams cannot bear the heavy burden of reality. Yet the boldness of the unknowing can always stir people’s enthusiasm for the unknown. For who knew how many times now, the naïve boy before him had invited his companion, two years his senior, to set sail for distant shores. His bored brother could only respond with exasperation. “You can’t even remember what they looked like anymore. Why cling so stubbornly to the pain of missing them? Have you ever considered that the truth might not be beautiful?” “We’ll never know unless we go and see for ourselves, right?” The boy laughed, hands on his hips, undaunted. He pulled his brother up from the rocking chair. The latter didn’t resist and willingly followed him. “Where’s Chicken Overlord?” “Playing hide-and-seek with you.” The two set off together, ready for this year’s fifty-second attempt to break out of Earth! P.S. A fanfic of the childhood classic *Rainbow Sea*. Fans, don’t miss it! (If you haven’t seen it, I recommend giving it a try. It’s really good.) The setting has been tweaked slightly: the original ages of the main cast, all thirteen, seemed too young, so they’re now seventeen. New original storylines will be added later, along with a heavily reworked portion of *Famila*’s plot and lots of related worldbuilding. (Some of those details conflicted with Season One.)
