I like Mr. Gu's Little Cat better than the original title.
Jiang Yuning is a woman who transmigrated into a book. She didn't come to fight the original heroine for resources or the male lead. She came for Gu Yanchen, her Mr. Gu. For him, she can stand against the uncle who loves her, face public opinion, take a bullet for him, and carry him through a snowy night… She has a golden finger, but she'd give it up for Mr. Gu. She's not blinded by love; she knows what she wants.
Gu Yanchen is a minor cannon-fodder character in the book, an assistant to the male lead's older brother. Nobody has faith in him, but Jiang Yuning is the one who catches him, so he'd risk everything for her. He's a scheming, green-tea type of man, but only with her: an exceptionally clingy, puppy-like sweetheart, and only hers. It's not that he lacks ability; he just wants to cling to her.
Wen Jinghe is Jiang Yuning's destined partner in the original story. He's her uncle, the perfect older man. But Jiang Yuning doesn't love him. He's not her leading man.
