Dimensional nodes have erupted around the world, and the national destiny trials have begun. The survival of each country’s representatives hangs by a thread, while the fate of the Dragon Nation remains uncertain.
Shen Yan unexpectedly awakens the Wang Ye Roleplay System, going from a restorer of ancient books to the Dragon Nation’s sole representative in the trials. Alone, he enters the perilous node battlefield.
“Ding! Assume Wang Ye’s role and use Lan Jintuo to immobilize the Erosion Wind Beast.”
“Ding! Use Tai Chi energy to embody the truth of ‘winning without contending.’”
“Ding! Lay out the Fenghou Qimen formation and show the Lord of Space and Time who’s really in control!”
From his awkward first attempts at the Qimen formation to commanding the situation with a folding fan once he reaches mastery; from being surrounded by other nations’ representatives to standing against node lords that devour everything. Clad in a Taoist robe and wielding a folding fan, Shen Yan not only unlocks Qimen arts such as Lan Jintuo, Earth River Cart, and Sandalwood Merit through one roleplay mission after another, but also grasps the essence of Wang Ye’s outlook: transcending the world, yet taking responsibility within it.
When the Dragon Nation’s fortunes hit rock bottom and the real world teeters amid turmoil, he stands at the heart of the formation and smiles. “I am Wang Ye, a humble Taoist. Today, I shall use Qimen to determine the fate of the Dragon Nation!”
This is a solo battle, and a legend of becoming what one once only played. Watch as this humble Taoist protects a nation’s prosperity single-handedly and determines the world’s fate online!
