Mount Emei, 2025. A little monkey accidentally snatches a tourist's phone and unexpectedly starts a livestream! But this isn't an ordinary monkey. Deep in its soul lies the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Sun Wukong, who once wreaked havoc in the Celestial Palace and was tricked by the Tathagata and Six-Eared Macaque into a gruesome death during the pilgrimage to the West!

Trapped in the body of an ordinary monkey and stripped of his divine powers, he discovers that human gifts and follows can be converted into mysterious "faith power," helping him gradually unlock his abilities!

"Holy crap! That monkey can really fly?!" A glimpse of the Somersault Cloud takes the internet by storm!

"Oh my god! It can appraise antiques, and even the experts are on their knees!" His Fiery Golden Eyes see through the antiques market, sparking a tidal wave of traffic!

"The Great Sage is mighty! One strike of his staff smashed that black technology!" The Golden Cudgel appears in a flash, striking fear into underground forces around the world!

From a cheeky monkey who stole a phone to the "livestreaming Great Sage" adored by hundreds of millions of fans worldwide, he stirs up the city with his broadcasts and upends everything people thought they knew with his divine powers! As all manner of hidden gods, demons, and monsters emerge from the modern city, and the shocking truth about his supposed death comes to light, how will Sun Wukong use this "faith power" to reclaim his peak and become the true Great Sage Equal to Heaven of a new era?
