At Meng Academy: The System Takes Me from the Start

(I'm a new author, so please bear with me if my writing isn't very good.)

Ling Feng was an orphan who had spent his life wallowing in the mud on Earth. Then he woke up to find himself thrown into the fiery adventures of magical teens: he had transmigrated into The Magic Star, with a “Proficiency Panel” that did nothing but force him to grind. Faced with a tragic ending set in stone, he could only become a relentless grind machine, trying to pry fate's door open through endless practice with magic, potions, and magical tools.

Luckily, the story sent him the strongest ally possible: Agnes, the cool-headed genius potion-maker, transferred to the school ahead of schedule. The two went from lab rivals to comrades fighting fate side by side. When the Dark Tribe's shadow loomed once more, Ling Feng brandished his maxed-out skill tree and took the heroine's hand. “The original story ends in tragedy? Starting today, I'm clearing this instance!” This is a journey of protecting those they love, using hard work as a cheat code to rewrite a tearful ending, and finding love at the edge of the universe along the way.
