The Primordial Origin: The source of the universe, formless yet possessing form, dwelling in the space between reality and nothingness. It is both the source of creation and the key to annihilation. It possesses limitless power, able to evolve, mutate, devolve, merge, and reshape living beings, as well as alter laws and reconstruct time and space. But when living beings are exposed to the Primordial Origin beyond a certain threshold, their deepest desires are magnified without limit, driving both good and evil to extremes. The good become disastrously obsessive, erasing every variable in the name of “perfection”; the evil become maddened agents of calamity, delighting in destruction and tearing apart all order. In the end, both bring about the collapse of the world.
Heaven’s Will: Created by a supreme being whose benevolent impulses were driven to extremes after contact with the Primordial Origin. Its sole principles are “absolute perfection, absolute order, and absolute eternity.” Using the power of the Primordial Origin, it seeks to erase everything in the world that is “unpleasant,” “uncertain,” or “irregular,” forcing all things to follow a predetermined course and stripping away every variable and choice.
Free will: An innate instinct of all living beings. It is the source of their desire to explore the unknown, seek adventure, break free of shackles, and choose their own paths. It is the essence of life that rejects being conditioned, defined, or controlled, and the only force capable of opposing Heaven’s Will.
