1970s: Ning Xiuxiu, the Matriarch Who Runs the Whole Family

Ning Xiuxiu has traveled from the 2020s of the 21st century to the 1970s of the 20th century.

Sigh!

She got so immersed in the drama Sheng Wanwu that she suddenly found herself in the Feng family compound of the 1970s.

At thirty, in the prime of her life, all the years she'd spent striving had vanished in an instant. Now, in this new era, she still has to level up and fight monsters.

But she doesn't have to work hard anymore. She gets to become a mom without the pain of childbirth, take charge of the household, and put everyone else to work.

Three of the sons in the family are married, one daughter is married off, and a younger son and two daughters are still at home!

This whole family is a handful!

She sees the fate of the entire Li family. None of them have it good; their lives are hard!

A hard lot!

Far too hard!

In the end, not one of them lives to see the third generation.

Since she's already here, she can't control the long-term task of carrying on the family line. All she wants is to make things a little better for them while she's still alive.

Let's stop being poor. Let's make an effort and become the first generation to build something!

The next generation can enjoy the shade beneath the trees planted by those who came before. May their descendants be grateful to them!
