This is an epic historical novel series from the perspective of representative artifacts in the history of Chinese civilization. Taking the utensils as the protagonist, it runs through the five thousand years of China, observing the footprints of history - using the utensils as eyes, observing the vicissitudes of history.
The book is planned to be divided into ten volumes, spanning the grand journey of Chinese civilization from its inception to the end of its imperial system. Each volume focuses on a core dynasty or historical period, and each chapter uses a unique artifact from that period as the "narrative eye." Readers will be possessed by these silent witnesses - from the bronze ritual vessel used for worshiping the altar, to a jade pendant in the deep palace boudoir; from an arrowhead in the border beacon fire, to a piece of porcelain on an ocean-going sailing ship; from a brush written by a scholar, to a page of code that changes the situation of the war... These silent witnesses, across the boundaries of time and space, watch with cold eyes the rise and fall of dynasties, the fights of heroes, the twilight of beauties, the blending of cultures, and the joys and sorrows of ordinary people. To experience those fateful moments and feel the heat, sound, smell and touch of history.
