Lu Chen: A former special forces commander, calm and astute, skilled in hand-to-hand combat and strategic planning. In the early days of the apocalypse, he leads a squad to protect civilians and meets Lin Wan during a rescue mission in the ruins.
Gu Yan: A genius scientist who specializes in virus research and equipment manufacturing. Gentle by nature, he is hunted for researching the apocalyptic virus. Lin Wan saves him, and he joins her team.
Qin Ye: A ruthless wilderness wanderer, skilled in survival and resource exploration. He seems cold but is deeply loyal. He crosses paths with Lin Wan while she's searching for supplies and later becomes the team's "vanguard."
The writing was pretty good, but it ended too quickly. I hope to write an emotional line. Moreover, this post-apocalyptic story still feels like a confrontation between people, not between people and mutants, or between people and nature. Come on, author, I hope the next one will be better!
