Great Qian's Imperial Son-in-Law: I Really Don't Want to Live Off My Wife

Humor + devoted husband + living off his wife + alternate world + hopeless romantic + powerful heroine

Lin Fan transmigrates to the Great Qian Dynasty, where he becomes the first imperial son-in-law under the reigning empress. In other words, he gets to live off his wife.

By all rights, now that he’s the imperial son-in-law, it’s only reasonable for him to have a little power, a few troops, and, well, a whole lot of beautiful women, right?

But the empress crushes his dreams with one decree: “The imperial harem must not interfere in government affairs.”

As a proud chauvinist, Lin Fan can’t stand for this. Who is he? A man of the modern age, a strapping eight-foot-tall man! How can he live off his wife? He’ll stand tall! He’ll rise up!

But the empress is a hopeless romantic and an absolute husband-doting fanatic. The more Lin Fan resists, the more excited she gets, and the harder she dotes on him!

And so Lin Fan is trapped in a vicious cycle.

The empress and Lin Fan love and fight in equal measure, acting out one amusing tale after another.
