In Miria, a city shrouded by a huge dome, hope is a luxury. In order to exchange life-saving medicine for his sister, Ling An, a relic hunter living at the bottom, discovered a secret in the ruins that should not exist - an ancient talking core. This being who calls himself "Gaia" reveals to him a lie that subverts the world: the energy of this city comes from the silent stealing of the vitality of all residents, and the so-called "dust disease" is nothing but the cry of life being drained.
When the cold-blooded Order Guards crushed the door of his family, and when his former neighbors turned into a pool of blood, Ling An was forced to embark on a road of resistance from which there was no turning back. From the sunken subsidence area, to the neon-lit ring corridor area, to the majestic and hypocritical sky dome area, he must form an alliance with the mysterious female doctor, deal with the desperate resisters, and face the fateful pursuit from the apex of order.
Trust and betrayal intertwine, sacrifice and new life overlap. When the dome that holds the world together begins to crumble, and when the legendary wasteland reveals its true form as stars, will one person's awakening be enough to ignite the remaining flames of the entire city? This is not just for survival, but also for a forgotten torture: Why do we live?
