Senior Brother, Please Be Kind to Me

[Both leads are devoted only to each other + seemingly aloof heroine + gentle, refined hero] Jiang Yunshu has been under the control of family head Jiang Qiong for years. With no other choice, she schemes to ensnare Wen Linchuan, deputy sect leader of Yunlu, and bring the aloof beauty down from his pedestal. “Senior Brother, I know this is very forward of me. If you’re willing, I only ask that you cherish me.” Before she could finish, the man before her silenced her with a kiss. From that day on, they shared a bed for three years, and the upright, noble deputy sect leader fell completely for her alone. Even when she refused to reveal their relationship in front of others, he agreed. In public, they kept their distance; in private, they took precautions. They were fated to be together, and married three times. Once, after she got drunk, someone helped her to the outer courtyard, where disciples were practicing. They glared at him as though he were a heartless man. “Why won’t you hold me?” She staggered toward him. He steadied her and picked her up, leaving the disciples stunned. He could only smile helplessly. Yunshu wouldn’t let him reveal their relationship, yet now she was begging him to hold her. Oh well, they were just a few disciples. He could give them a stern talking-to later. Even when she impulsively killed Jiang Qiong, he merely wiped her hands clean and made it look as though Jiang Qiong had died of illness. Even during the mourning period for Jiang Qiong, her plain white mourning clothes concealed one suggestive mark after another.
